Shannon began her career in Toronto, Canada, where she had the privilege of working with some of the best cut and colourists in the city. She has trained with some of the top companies in the business (Toni and Guy, Pivot Point, Vidal, Schwarzkopf, Redken, Goldwell, Brazilian Blowout, Lanza). Upon arriving to Nashville in 96', Shannon's career quickly took her behind the scenes - photo /video shoots, fashion shows, movie sets, print work, and destination weddings (Costa Rica, LA, Florida, Barbados, Belize, Europe, Toronto). Her clients have included Elizabeth Cook, Mila Mason, Rachael Hunter, Katey Sagel, Alice Cooper, Roger Glover, and Bob Ezerin. It didn't take long before she had to make a decision, her clients needed her here in Nashville. She opened Shay's in 2002! She is well known for her colour corrections and keratin treatments including Brazilian Blowout, Marcia Teixeira and Cezanne. Shannon believes that each client needs to be treated individually to achieve their desired look!!!
